What is Profhilo?

PROFHILO® is not a dermal filler or a stimulator, it is the first of its kind in bio-remodelling.   Indicated for TISSUE REMODELING AND IMPROVEMENT IN SKIN LAXITY of the; face, neck, décolletage, hands and now body, PROFHILO® tightens, lifts and rejuvenates the skin, reversing signs of ageing.

Treatment Procedure

After a full consultation and assessment, topical numbing is applied to ensure comfort and PROFHILO® is injected into very specific points (BAP points) to promote optimal results.  The procedure is relatively quick and painless.  We recommend 2 treatments 4-6 weeks apart. We then recommend a top up treatment every 6-9 months to ensure longevity.

What Profhilo Treatments Do You Offer?

We offer a full range of PROFHILO® treatments at our West Midlands clinics.  PROFHILO® can be used on the face, neck, hands, arms, stomach and knees to restore the skins youthful texture.  We also combine some of our other treatments with PROFHILO® where appropriate to give outstanding results.

How Does It Work?

PROFHILO® promotes the restoration of firmness, tone and elasticity of tissues in a unique way using patented technology.  4 different types of collagen and elastin (the skins scaffolding) are stimulated, the result is MULTILEVEL REMODELLING of the skin in terms of elasticity and support, as well as maintaining and promoting the normal vitality of the skins key cells which we normally loose as we age.  Your skin will look visibly tighter, firmer and glowing.

Aftercare

You will be fully briefed on aftercare at your appointment, it's important that you follow this advice to get the best results from your treatment.  PROFHILO® treatments require minimal downtime and as such you can return to work immediately after your treatment in most cases. There may be some slight redness or bruising and this is normal.  We recommend that you avoid wearing make up for 12 hours, vigorous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours as this can increase bruising.  You should also avoid direct heat such as saunas and sun bathing for 7 days after treatment.

What Can't Have Profhilo?

You cannot have PROFHILO® if you; are pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18 years of age, have a history of anaphylactic shock, have had laser treatment or chemical skin peels in the 6 weeks prior, have implants close to the region to be injected, have a local infection at or close to the injection site or are in the active phase of a cold sore.
