Vitamin Injections

Delivered by a fully qualified and insured medical professional with extensive knowledge of the human body to ensure that you are in safe, experienced hands when you choose to have your vitamin injection treatments at Resolve.  We offer a range of different vitamin injections tailored to your individual needs.

What Is a Vitamin Injection?

Vitamin injections deliver a high dose of the chosen vitamin into the body in the most effective way.  The vitamin is injected into muscle, allowing the vitamin to (unlike orally taken vitamins), bypass the digestive system and result in a 90-100% vitamin absorption rate.  We offer a range of different vitamin injections in our Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham & Stafford clinics.

Treatment Procedure

You will be fully consulted and any contraindications to treatment discussed.  Once consented the vitamin solution is injected into a suitable muscle.  For small dose injections this is normally into the deltoid muscle (the muscle on the outside of the upper arm).  Larger doses are normally injected into the upper thigh or buttock.

What Vitamin Injections Do You Offer?

We offer varying doses of the following vitamins with the dose tailored to the individual:

VITAMIN B12

VITAMIN B7

VITAMIN C

VITAMIN D

What To Expect

Depending on the treatment chosen the outcomes vary. For example, B12 treatment can increase energy levels and often notably decrease certain symptoms you may have been experiencing.  Vitamin C however can improve the appearance of skin over time but is not something you can 'feel' to be working.

Aftercare

You must keep the injection site clean, drink plenty of water and avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment.

Who Can't Have Vitamin Injections?

This varies according to the vitamin being injected, there are some medications that contraindicate vitamin injection treatment. We do not offer these treatments to clients receiving the same treatment elsewhere, pregnant or lactating ladies.  Your suitability to treat will be discussed at your appointment.
